Arcadia Valley R-II Schools October 2000
Vol. 1, Number 1
The Arcadia Valley R-II School
District is very proud that we are one of five recipients of a
federal 21st Community Learning Center Grant in the state of Missouri
this year. This is a three-year project for the Arcadia Valley
in cooperation with Central R-III and Bismarck R-V. Hopefully,
you have heard about this project and even taken advantage of
some the activities. This Newsletter will be published every month
in an effort to keep you, the public and parents of Arcadia Valley
students informed of the many activities that this grant is providing
for our community. If you have questions about certain activities
feel free to contact the person in charge of the activity, the
building principal or David Dillard (546-9700 ext 4) the site
coordinator. The best thing about the activities under this grant
is that all the activities are free to the participants.
There are several components to the project, each affecting different
age groups. This Newsletter will attempt to provide as many of
the activities as possible. Enjoy as many of them as you can.
